J.P. Steffensen & Anna Domnick: About the Arctic

How does it feel to wake up every morning in a completely white landscape stretching as far as the eye can see? And what can the fragility of the ice tell us about our current time? Physicist and senior scientist J.P. Steffensen from the Niels Bohr Institute knows all about it. His work with ice core drilling on the Greenlandic Ice Sheet has brought him to the vast white landscape a number of times. In this talk between photographer Anna Domnick and physicist J. P. Steffensen we will explore the connection between science and photography and what the ice can reveal to us about our civilization.

The moderator at the event will be Frederik Hardvendel, Director at Danish Art Workshops.
