The artist Ieke Trinks will present her final exam project One Performance Is Many Performances. The work consists of a monologue where Trinks recites Lilibeth Cuenca Rasmussen’s remembering of her own performance Being Human Being, which took place in Nikolaj Kunsthal 2014. Lilibeth Cuenca Rasmussen will be present at the performance and will participate in the following discussion together with Janneke Schoene. Free entrance.

Ieke Trinks is a degree student at the MA in Critical & Pedagogical Studies, Malmö Art Academy. She is originally from Rotterdam, but is currently based in Malmö, Sweden. Trinks, who has presented her performance art internationally, co-organises performance art events in the Netherlands for Performance Art Event, and is a member of the performance collective Trickster.

Lilibeth Cuenca Rasmussen was born in Manila in the Philippines. She is a Danish video and performance artist and lives in Copenhagen. Recently she worked on a performance project in Brasilia. Cuenca Rasmussen is an Associate Professor in Performance and Time-based Art, KHiB, Bergen Academy of Art and Design, and a board member of the Commitee of Arts Production and International Affairs, Agency for Culture and Palaces, Denmark.

Janneke Schoene recently finished her PhD thesis on Joseph Beuys' autofiction in art.  The degree is in Comparative Art at the University of Münster. Schoene now lives in Sweden, where she supports educationin the Division of Intermedia Studies at Lund University.  She is currently editing a conference anthology on the exhibition of the immaterial.
