Visit Nikolaj Kunsthal and experience Danish and international contemporary art in unique historical surroundings. The art centre is located in the old Church of Saint Nicholas, dating back to the 13th century. Beautiful architecture enters into a unique interaction with innovative and engaging contemporary art. Wheelchair Access
Nikolaj Kunsthal endeavours to make all our exhibitions accessible for wheelchair users. Due to our changing exhibitions, which are often on a large scale and in challenging formats, we cannot always guarantee full access. There is no wheelchair access to the upper gallery, but the ground floor is fully accessible and has 1 disabled toilets.

Family facilities
Nikolaj Kunsthal welcomes families and has room for buggies as changing facilities for babies. 

Nikolaj Kunsthal is right next to Copenhagen’s main shopping street (Strøget) and a short walk from the busses and Metro station at Kongens Nytorv. Parking close to Nikolaj Kunsthal can be limited, but the department stores Magasin and Illum have underground car parks close by.
